Other Pictures of D105 Litter Bellanotte (click to see larger version):Meet Bellanotte! This super cute young “Lady" is a 20ish pound, twelve week old female Great Pyrenees and Newfie Mix pup. She is one of a litter of three girls that were dumped in a ditch in the country down south to die at around 8 weeks old. A kind person found them and they were brought into rescue. They were very sick for a few weeks, but are now healthy happy pups and ready to find their perfect homes. Please read the entire bio to make sure you are a great match for this little one, who is sometimes chill and much of the time a puffball of puppy energy. Bellanotte's mom was likely a Great Pyrenees (we have no idea who dad could have been…and it seems there was more than one dad for this litter) so she will likely be 70-100 pounds when fully grown and she will need PLENTY of exercise and mental stimulation. Bellanotte is not really suited for apartment or condo living, unless someone in the house is a marathon runner or something similar. Dog savvy tween children are fine, and anyone considering this pup should plan for obedience training from puppyhood to young adult. Bellanotte is a very sensitive pup, and is super sweet in her temperament. She is loving, food motivated and constantly looking for something fun to do. This means (just like her sister Bijoux): If you don’t have something for her to do, no problem! She will find something interesting! Likely finding the shoes you forgot to put away… Bellanotte will require a fenced in yard, privacy or other non-climb fencing of at least four feet. No electronic fencing, shock, prong or choke chains please. Positive motivational trainers only should be used on this easy to train pup. The best match for Baby Bella is a person with large dog experience. Bellanotte is used to being in a crate overnight. Most of the time she keeps things clean, but she is not yet potty trained. If this sounds like a match for you, please send in your application today. Bellanotte can’t wait to meet you!!!
HDDCR requires a spay/neuter contract by the adopter if puppies and kittens in our care are too young for sterilization. This is a form the adopter signs at the time of adoption, confirming that they will get the pet spayed/neutered by a certain date. We will hold a $50 deposit on top of the adoption fee until we receive proof from a veterinarian that the dog was spayed/neutered. The $50 deposit will then be returned to the adopter.
