Description:Dyson is a happy playful pup with a good amount of energy. He is looking for an active family home with a fenced in yard (physical fence required).
Kids ten and up would be fine, he does still have puppy energy and can jump up. He may be medium sized when full grown, but he may be large.
We guess his breed is boxer mixed with collie (he has a long-ish nose and some wave to the fur on his tail, and his ears are sometimes up, sometimes down).
Another dog (or two) that enjoy romps as much as he does would be great! He’s been around outdoor cats and does not pay them much mind but we aren’t sure how he would do with indoor kitties.
We don’t know why he hasn’t found his forever home yet.

He is good with every dog he has been introduced to here. Tyson really loves people and has been on multiple outings to pet stores, giving away free puppy kisses to any takers. He’s been very brave and willing to try new things.
He rides in a car harness, and has been excellent with potty training. Tyson is too young to be fully potty trained, but he has had no accidents in the past few weeks. He is quiet overnight, and is only vocal when he needs to go outside or when someone is making breakfast/dinner for him. He listens very well and is very attentive to commands.
Tyson loves his walks and is good on the leash. He doesn’t pull, but in true boxer nature he doesn’t really walk, he dances alongside the human, bouncing around like “Tigger” in absolute enjoyment of the moment.
He is such a fun and really easy pup. He chews on appropriate toys, loves treats and is calm for “movie time” at night, where he gets to snuggle up to people and other pups to watch TV.

Tyson came to us with from a shelter down south, and he had a rough start as an abandoned puppy. He was a bit unsure about new things when he arrived here in his foster home, but he was NOT unsure of how to deeply snuggle with his humans!
He soon left all that bad stuff behind him and is a great pup that is brave and has the biggest heart. Tyson did super at his vet visit and the staff fell in love with his lovely temperament. Tyson has gone on an outing to the farm store and captured the hearts of everyone he met. He is a total lovebug!
Tyson would do best in a home with respectful loving dog savvy children over six. Tyson hasn’t got a mean bone in his body, but he doesn’t have a clue about his size, or about what his tail is doing so he may accidentally knock over the littles. He has done well with all the dogs he has met, so another dog or two in the home would be great. A physically fenced yard is a must. Positive motivational training only for this sensitive baby. NO choke chain, prong collar, e-collar or e-fencing!
Tyson is crate trained, and is generally a quiet boy unless he needs to go out, or he is hungry. Tyson is not potty trained, although he keeps his crate clean, he can still have accidents as he is a young pup. Tyson has a lot of energy, and in typical Boxer goofball fashion likes to do flips, spins and jumps as he walks along with you on leash. He will need some firm but positive obedience training along with proper exercise to help him become the bestest doggo ever! He does have a calm side, and loves to fall asleep watching movies with his foster parents. He loves snuggle time, and loves to be held. Any home should be prepared that he may think he is a lap dog no matter how big he grows.
We are looking for a home for this extraordinary pup, so if you think you are a match, send in your application right away!
HDDCR requires a spay/neuter contract by the adopter if puppies and kittens in our care are too young for sterilization. This is a form the adopter signs at the time of adoption, confirming that they will get the pet spayed/neutered by a certain date. We will hold a $50 deposit on top of the adoption fee until we receive proof from a veterinarian that the dog was spayed/neutered. The $50 deposit will then be returned to the adopter.
Happy Days Dog and Cat Rescue microchips all dogs and cats before adoption. Microchips are implanted between the shoulder blades and are another form of identification should the animal get lost. The microchips are registered to
Happy Days Dog and Cat Rescue. The adopter's information is added once the adoption is complete. The adopter is responsible for a
$19.99/Year registration fee or a $45.00/Lifetime registration fee
to change information.
Dogs and Cats still need to have collar with tags should they get lost.
