Meet Marco, our newest resident at the Mikey & Me kennels for Happy Days Rescue.

Marco is a Lab/Setter/Pointer? Mix, he weighs 57 pounds, and he is estimated to be about 3 years old. He loves taking walks, making outdoor discoveries, and he enjoys being around people. He is an affectionate dog and I think Marco will make a fun addition for an active family.

Marco is well behaved, he doesn’t bark much and he is already learning commands like “Go back” and “Stay”. Marco seems to be good about meeting other dogs, as long as they aren’t bouncing off of him and too full of energy when they first meet.

Marco has his first Vet appt. scheduled for 10/4 and he will be neutered on 10/10. He has already had most of his vaccinations but he will get any additional care that is needed at that time. Marco will be tested for heart worm disease at his first appt.

Happy Days Dog and Cat Rescue microchips all dogs and cats before adoption. Microchips are implanted between the shoulder blades and are another form of identification should the animal get lost. The microchips are registered to    Happy Days Dog and Cat Rescue. The adopter's information is added once the adoption is complete. The adopter is responsible for a $19.99/Year registration fee or a $45.00/Lifetime registration fee to change information.    Dogs and Cats still need to have collar with tags should they get lost.
