Other Pictures of Henry (click to see larger version):Henry is a lab, beagle mix boy who we believe is about 1 year old. His favorite thing is being by his person. Henry is potty trained and takes treats very gently like he does not want to hurt a fly. We think that he spent most of life before coming into rescue living in a yard since he is unsure in a house. Everything in the house he is figuring out; from doors, vacuums, and the dishwasher. He attended his last adoption event (but did not go home with anyone so is still looking for his forever home) and even though was nervous he did well with the new sights and smells of the adoption event (Store, cats, dogs, kids). Henry would do best with a homebody that he can claim as his person. He will most likely do best in a calmer household. He is nervous in the crate alone but has not had accidents or freaked while his foster is at work (They have watched him on camera when left alone). Leaving the TV on has helped him when left alone. Henry did not have any leash manners when he came to rescue however, he is picking up on them well when in a calm environment. He is gaining weight and coming into his own though he will need his person to help with his confidence while out walking or when he is exposed to anything new. Days Dog and Cat Rescue microchips all dogs and cats before adoption. Microchips are implanted between the shoulder blades and are another form of identification should the animal get lost. The microchips are registered to Happy Days Dog and Cat Rescue. The adopter's information is added once the adoption is complete. The adopter is responsible for a $19.99/Year registration fee or a $45.00/Lifetime registration fee to change information. Dogs and Cats still need to have collar with tags should they get lost.
