Other Pictures of Holly (click to see larger version):My name is Holly and I am looking for my real forever home. You see, I had a home for a little while but I ended up outside in the winter and I got frostbite on my feet. I was really, really hungry and it hurt really bad. Then a nice lady took me to a vet and my Happy Days foster mama came to get me and she has been helping me heal ever since.
Holly is physically recovering from being outside this winter and we are still learning more about her personality. She is very, very affectionate - she wants to be held for comfort and gives tiny gentle nibbles along with a quiet purr when she's happy. Holly is re-learning play and seems most interested in string toys. She becomes very talkative and antsy when the food bowl is "empty." Holly tolerates other cats and dogs. Her foster family believes that she is learning to feel safe and to trust. Holly absolutely adores people and she seeks out the foster family's 5-year-old and 7-year-old for comfort.
Holly needs a home that can encourage her continued healing and help her sweet personality blossom. Holly does quite well in an active household but would likely be just as happy as a companion for a retiree. She has lots of potential and at only 1 year 9 months in age, she has a long, loving life ahead. Happy Days Dog and Cat Rescue microchips all dogs and cats before adoption. Microchips are implanted between the shoulder blades and are another form of identification should the animal get lost. The microchips are registered to Happy Days Dog and Cat Rescue. The adopter's information is added once the adoption is complete. The adopter is responsible for a $19.99/Year registration fee or a $45.00/Lifetime registration fee to change information. Dogs and Cats still need to have collar with tags should they get lost.
