Other Pictures of Midge (click to see larger version):Midge is a 12 year old toy fox terrier. She was surrendered to a shelter when her owner had to move. Midge was so sad and scared there that she didn't eat. Midge came to Happy Days and is doing much better in a foster home. She is a little sweetie that likes to be pet and will roll over for belly scratches once she is comfortable. She is very sweet to her people. She does take time to warm up to new people. She will follow her person around the house often and will even give a little kiss now and then. Midge did like her crate at first to go in. Once comfortable she will lay in a dog bed and burrow in blankets. Midge loves to play fetch with a small ball or stuffed animal. Midge is protective of her crate or bed area and possessive with toys with other dogs at times. She may be best as an only dog, but in her foster home she is living with 3 other small dogs and gets along. She is fearful of large dogs Midge does best in a quieter home. Midge is housebroken and will go out in the yard to potty. Nothing stops Midge X rays show she had a broken pelvis in the past which makes her a little off center but does not stop her from getting around. This girl is a just joy to have around! and is looking for a home to spend the rest of her days.
Happy Days Dog and Cat Rescue microchips all dogs and cats before adoption. Microchips are implanted between the shoulder blades and are another form of identification should the animal get lost. The microchips are registered to Happy Days Dog and Cat Rescue. The adopter's information is added once the adoption is complete. The adopter is responsible for a $19.99/Year registration fee or a $45.00/Lifetime registration fee to change information. Dogs and Cats still need to have collar with tags should they get lost.
