Other Pictures of Poppy (click to see larger version):Poppy has come a very long way, and love, love, loves to.play! Loves kids and other dogs, she is doing amazing and is getting better everyday! Poppy was very fearful when she first arrived to me, no one could touch her! she screamed and lashed out offering to bite and bite hard! she was very fearful! but now she is a very sweet young energetic little girl, she is not house trained and that is were her fear comes from, she apparently was abused every time she had an accident, she will bite and scream if you come at her fast, she is working on the potty training in a gentle manner now, and is potty pad trained. she does like kids but not any child who is loud, grabby, or runs around the house so only older, respectful children or none will be considered. Poppy also has bad separation anxiety so someone who is home most if not all day will get consideration first. Poppy will need a patient loving mom/dad to help her through this. she does get along with other dogs but only once properly introduced or she will be snippy. Poppy will truly be an amazing companion , but probably not for apartment living as she does have a very loud and continuous yip/ screech when left alone. Poppy is potty pad trained.
Happy Days Dog and Cat Rescue microchips all dogs and cats before adoption. Microchips are implanted between the shoulder blades and are another form of identification should the animal get lost. The microchips are registered to Happy Days Dog and Cat Rescue. The adopter's information is added once the adoption is complete. The adopter is responsible for a $19.99/Year registration fee or a $45.00/Lifetime registration fee to change information. Dogs and Cats still need to have collar with tags should they get lost.
