Description:

Shelby is a special needs baby. I have many applications for Shelby, many due to the fact they want a hypoallergenic dog, she does shed a bit, and there is no guarantee she is a hypoallergenic breed she is a mix of sorts and the breed posted is the best guess? Shelby cannot have an invisible fence, can not manuver several flights of stairs, a couple steps she can manage, also she can only have one dog in the household if any, and no small children. You see Shelby has limited vision, therefore she is understandably stand offish with people and other dogs, it takes her time to warm up to people and other dogs. She also has had a broken front leg and it was never taken care of and healed on its own, so no large dogs for playmates, Shelby does fine but on occasion carries her leg and in the future it will possibly need medication for Arthritis. She is not the typical dog you can take on walks and have her be friendly to people and other dogs. Shelby takes time to warmup to people and dogs It is imperative she gets proper and slow  introductions.  Shelby does play rough with other dogs.
She will require a physical fence no invisible fence

Shelby is a very sweet loving girl once allowed to warm up to her person she  will be a great companion for someone willing to take the time to let her warm up and understand her limitations.

Happy Days Dog and Cat Rescue microchips all dogs and cats before adoption. Microchips are implanted between the shoulder blades and are another form of identification should the animal get lost. The microchips are registered to    Happy Days Dog and Cat Rescue. The adopter's information is added once the adoption is complete. The adopter is responsible for a $19.99/Year registration fee or a $45.00/Lifetime registration fee to change information.    Dogs and Cats still need to have collar with tags should they get lost.
