Ellie is a very sweet girl that would do best with a submissive dog or at least one that is not always in her face, she tends to resource guard her ball and her food . She was said to be good with kids, but they need to be respectful of her space ( Ellie has NEVER growled or bitten any human) just protects her things from other dogs. once adjusted I think she will lose that guarding as she did live with another dog in her past home. Ellie is house trained, loves walks, and car rides she would make a wonderful companion for anyone who would love a best friend. she would prefer a fenced yard as she loves to go outside or a daily walker. Ellie does bark when new people come over but had never been aggressive with people, nor dogs, unless the above items mentioned are involved. We were told Ellie does not like cats!
