Leo is very handsome, young Rottweiler with a very nice disposition. Leo is house and crate trained. He takes to training well and is very smart. Leo absolutely loves a good belly rub. He will frequently lean against a person, slither down to the floor, lay on feet and roll over for a good rub. Leo is a fan of all squeaky toys, but he is a bit of a chewer, so the squeaky toy lifespan is rather short. He also loves to fetch balls and other toys. He has not been exposed to cats. He has not had a lot of socialization with other dogs. Around strangers Leo is curious, if we give the “it is okay” signaling, he generally warms up quite quickly to new people. He has had very limited exposure to young children. He has been around teenagers and does well with them. He enjoys being with his people and is affectionate. Leo is over 80 lbs and does not have a good sense of his size and mass - He would be great in a family with children 12 and older. I wouldn’t rule out younger children, but it would take some training and caution to ensure safety. While Leo will benefit from additional training and socialization, I am confident he will bring great joy to a family. He is lovable and full of energy!.

Happy Days Dog and Cat Rescue microchips all dogs and cats before adoption. Microchips are implanted between the shoulder blades and are another form of identification should the animal get lost. The microchips are registered to    Happy Days Dog and Cat Rescue. The adopter's information is added once the adoption is complete. The adopter is responsible for a $19.99/Year registration fee or a $45.00/Lifetime registration fee to change information.    Dogs and Cats still need to have collar with tags should they get lost.
