Everyone, meet Pepper. She is one of the sweetest, most well mannered fosters I've had. She sits and wags her tail when you ask her to sit, and loves walks. Not only does she love walks, she is PERFECT on a leash. Even with a retractable leash she is right next to you, in fact I almost tripped walking her and my dog because I am not used to having a dog that actually heels. It's pretty obvious to me that someone really loved her. Not sure how she wound up stuck in the pound for weeks on end, but I can't imagine anyone choosing to get rid of her. She came with a very nice collar with her name engraved on the metal clasp. She also behaved super well for her bath, and is very submissive and sweet with other dogs. She is probably used to sharing a bed with her human, as she quickly let herself into mine after her bath and fell asleep, and she cried for about 10 minutes when I put her in the crate. No accidents so far, and not food aggressive. A little timid about getting her feet touched so she will probably need to go to a groomer or vet to get them cut. I do already have one interested family, but if you are interested in this baby, consider applying at
www.happydaysdogandcatrescue. Happy Days Dog and Cat Rescue microchips all dogs and cats before adoption. Microchips are implanted between the shoulder blades and are another form of identification should the animal get lost. The microchips are registered to Happy Days Dog and Cat Rescue. The adopter's information is added once the adoption is complete. The adopter is responsible for a $19.99/Year registration fee or a $45.00/Lifetime registration fee to change information. Dogs and Cats still need to have collar with tags should they get lost.
