Description:

This is Heidi, another of our newest residents at the Mikey & Me kennels. Heidi is a 3 year old Collie Mix and she weighs about 46 pounds. Heidi has a beautiful coat with ears that are a deep, chocolate brown. They contrast beautifully with her cream and golden brown coat.

Heidi is very sweet and she loves interacting with people. She wags her tail continuously and she will quickly stand up to hug you. She loves interacting with children and she walks well on a leash. We are still testing Heidi around other dogs but she seems interested in meeting them.

Heidi is up to date on shots but she hasn’t been spayed yet. I will be making an appointment for a checkup, Microchip placement, and spay surgery sometime in the next two, weeks. She tested negative for heart worm before leaving the shelter

Happy Days Dog and Cat Rescue microchips all dogs and cats before adoption. Microchips are implanted between the shoulder blades and are another form of identification should the animal get lost. The microchips are registered to Happy Days Dog and Cat Rescue. The adopter's information is added once the adoption is complete. The adopter is responsible for a $19.99/Year registration fee or a $69.00/Lifetime registration fee to change information. Dogs and Cats still need to have collar with tags should they get lost.
