Other Pictures of Iris - ADOPTED (click to see larger version):Iris loves life, she enjoys every day to the fullest. Soft dog beds and lots of cuddles and some yummy treats keeps Iris' spirits high. She gets along with all male and female dogs in her foster home, that is a mixed group of small (9 lbs) to medium (35 lbs) sized dogs. Iris is a calm dog, she plays gently with the other dogs in the yard. She has learnt to pick green tomatoes off the bush in the yard !
Iris does not chew household items and she is housebroken if she is on a schedule to go outside. She will make a family a wonderful pet, but due to her size she may knock toddlers and young children over by accident. She pulls on a leash and she needs training but since this is a bright girl she will pick up fast. Come and meet Iris, she is a gem!
Backstory:
Iris is
a new arrival to the rescue. She is believed to be a Flat-Coat Ret / Lab mix of about 3 years old. Iris ended up in a Kentucky shelter. We know she had puppies recently that were likely adopted out. Iris is a friendly girl that is said to be good with other dogs.
Iris is UTD on vaccines and microchipped.
Happy Days Dog and Cat Rescue microchips all dogs and cats before adoption. Microchips are implanted between the shoulder blades and are another form of identification should the animal get lost. The microchips are registered to Happy Days Dog and Cat Rescue. The adopter's information is added once the adoption is complete. The adopter is responsible for a $19.99/Year registration fee or a $69.00/Lifetime registration fee to change information. Dogs and Cats still need to have collar with tags should they get lost.
