Meet Finn! He is shy at first, mostly towards men but he warms up quickly. He has learned that he is allowed on our couch and to cuddle. It seems he is still getting used to what a dog home is. He is being crate trained and doesn't mind it if he gets a small treat when he goes in and see his other dog friends go in theirs. But he will wake you up promptly at 6:30am with a soft warning bark. If you're not up in the next 15 minutes or so he will let out a few more barks. He is definitely a puppy full of energy but he does not compare to his foster brother. He is learning to sit and wait for his food and come when called. He will need continued training to get the hang of those commands. If you're looking for one sweet pup with the cutest ears and tons of kisses he's your guy. He needs a big back yard with a fence as he loves to be outside and since he chases small animals he needs a fence to contain him! If you're an active hiker or runner that will also be a great alternative to a lack of a back yard!
Happy Days Dog and Cat Rescue microchips all dogs and cats before adoption. Microchips are implanted between the shoulder blades and are another form of identification should the animal get lost. The microchips are registered to Happy Days Dog and Cat Rescue. The adopter's information is added once the adoption is complete. The adopter is responsible for a $19.99/Year registration fee or a $69.00/Lifetime registration fee to change information. Dogs and Cats still need to have collar with tags should they get lost.
