Meet Homer, a one year old American Bulldog Mix that is very people focused. He weighs about 60 pounds and although he is strong, he knows most of the basic commands and he listens well. Homer looks like a “Baby Cow” and he picked up that nickname somewhere along the way too 

Here’s what we know: 

The Shelter staff said this guy is an awesome dog. Homer loves people and he gets along well with other dogs. He recently tested Heart Worm negative. Homer will be microchipped for his safety and he will be updated on his shots in the coming days. He will be neutered sometime within the next two weeks.

What is the American Bulldog Temperament? American Bulldogs are friendly, happy, lovable dogs with an assertiveness and confidence that never gets out of control. Though initially stubborn in training, they soon respond to their masters’ commands and prove to be endlessly faithful companions.

Happy Days Dog and Cat Rescue microchips all dogs and cats before adoption. Microchips are implanted between the shoulder blades and are another form of identification should the animal get lost. The microchips are registered to  Happy Days Dog and Cat Rescue. The adopter's information is added once the adoption is complete. The adopter is responsible for a $19.99/Year registration fee or a $69.00/Lifetime registration fee to change information.  Dogs and Cats still need to have collar with tags should they get lost.
