Zeus is a 2 year old Australian Shepherd mix with a beautiful chocolate colored, long haired coat. Unfortunately, he had to be surrendered by his previous owner due to declining health.   Zeus is super friendly and he loves people, kids, getting attention and belly rubs. He is responding really well to the routines and training we have provided since his arrival and he has clearly demonstrated that he wants to learn and please us.  He will get regular walks and lots of attention during his stay at Mikey & Me.  

Zeus visited the vet two weeks ago and he is up to date on his shots and routine vet care. He was neutered at this time and he has recovered from his surgery. Zeus tested negative for heart worm on 3/19 and we have him on monthly heart worm prevention. 

Zeus interacts well with my own Corgi/Terrier Mix. He will make a loyal and loving companion dog because he loves one-on-one attention. He pulls a bit on his leash when he is walking outside but he is responding to training more each day. (I attribute this excitement to the lack of walks and stimulation over the past few months and I am confident he will calm even more once he knows his daily routines).

Happy Days Dog and Cat Rescue microchips all dogs and cats before adoption. Microchips are implanted between the shoulder blades and are another form of identification should the animal get lost. The microchips are registered to  Happy Days Dog and Cat Rescue. The adopter's information is added once the adoption is complete. The adopter is responsible for a $19.99/Year registration fee or a $69.00/Lifetime registration fee to change information.  Dogs and Cats still need to have collar with tags should they get lost.
