Other Pictures of Saint Max-ADOPTED (click to see larger version):Meet Max! Max is a 5 year old Saint Bernard. He was listed for free on Craig's List. Max had been kept outdoors for over a year in a barn stall so he was in rough shape when he was rescued. He only weighed 90 pounds due to several types of worms and parasites in his stool. He had double ear infections which are healing. His mouth had several teeth that were rotten and he was in a fair amount of pain from the infection. His fur so matted that he had to be shaved over his entire body. Fast forward to day....Max is a happy, loving, big, goofy boy! He has gained about 20 pounds, has been fully updated on his vaccines, had his stool infections treated, and his ear infections are close to cleared up. He had a dental cleaning completed and ended up losing 5 teeth. Max does well with other dogs as long as there is no food or treats around. He doesn't like to share. We can't blame him, he probably didn't get enough to eat at the barn he was at. Max is great with kids of all ages....he was raised for 4 years with a special needs child and has been around a one year old, a 4 year old, and a 12 year old and has done fantastic. He is a bit curious about cats but seems to leave them alone. If you would like to consider adding Max to your family, submit an app today! Happy Days Dog and Cat Rescue microchips all dogs and cats before adoption. Microchips are implanted between the shoulder blades and are another form of identification should the animal get lost. The microchips are registered to Happy Days Dog and Cat Rescue. The adopter's information is added once the adoption is complete. The adopter is responsible for a $19.99/Year registration fee or a $69.00/Lifetime registration fee to change information. Dogs and Cats still need to have collar with tags should they get lost.
