Other Pictures of Joan Crawford-ADOPTED (click to see larger version):Meet the real Joan Crawford, a gentle and beautiful Lab mix weighing in at 46 pounds. Joan is available for adoption and she is searching for a loving and consistent forever home.
Joan Crawford is approximately 5-6 years old and she is a gentle and sweet soul. She came to us three weeks ago with her tail tucked and it was clear that she was unsure about who to trust. That very quickly changed by implementing a few daily routines and by giving her the love and attention she deserves.
Joan was vetted two weeks ago and she tested negative for heart worm, had a negative fecal exam and she is up to date on all shots. She is on monthly heartworm prevention. Joan will be spayed in the next week or two and she will be micro-chipped for her safety at that time. Joan is finishing up a 30 day antibiotic treatment and ear drops as she was found with an ear infection. She has responded very well to the treatment.
Joan Crawford has a sweet and loving disposition and she walks very well on her leash and doesn't pull. Joan has the most beautiful big, brown eyes and she uses them to her advantage. She would make a wonderful companion for a retired person or couple as she is very easy to manage. She sits quietly as I place her lead on her before our daily walks. Joan Crawford obeys commands like "sit", "stay", "leave it" and "this way". She loves people and attention, she is good with kids, and she interacts well with other dogs.
If you or anyone you know can provide Joan Crawford with a stable and loving home environment, please let us know. She is currently residing at the Mikey & Me Foster Care kennels in Chelsea and arrangements could be made to meet her there most any time.
Happy Days Dog and Cat Rescue microchips all dogs and cats before adoption. Microchips are implanted between the shoulder blades and are another form of identification should the animal get lost. The microchips are registered to Happy Days Dog and Cat Rescue. The adopter's information is added once the adoption is complete. The adopter is responsible for a $19.99/Year registration fee or a $69.00/Lifetime registration fee to change information. Dogs and Cats still need to have collar with tags should they get lost.
